    This is actually one of my favorite pictures... as a disclaimer, this isn't me in any of the pictures.. this was one of the other members of "Team Mesha" that was there night and day for 3 weeks.

    Mittens is our barn cat and could be found laying across Mesha's back and side on and off throughout the whole day and night.

    He along with 2 dogs, 8 other horses, and 3 other cats.. were amazing to watch. While in their stalls they were always facing Mesha and talking to her through wickers on and off throughout the day. The dogs and cats would wander in and out at all times checking on her... and dearest Mittens, very seldom ever left her side.

    I'm so sorry to hear about this wonderful horse. Unfortunately, I have no drawing talent, but I hope you find somebody who can capture your lovely horses spirit.

    I drew this for you. For some reason my camera turned the paper color to yellow and made some areas darker. She definitely inspired me to draw her in the clouds. Hope you like it. I didn't get a chance to erase the accidental tail line.

    I really like this Joe. You did an excellent job. She's beautiful.

    May I ask what you would want for it? Monitarily?

    I also wanted to ask (I can't really tell because of some of the yellowing) .. but the way the shading is without the yellowing..does it she look black? In the posted picture she almost looks grey with a black mane and tail...but I know it doesn't always come across well. :)

    I just want to say again.. I love the picture. I just looked at it again and just really like it.

    If you have the time... I would love it if you'd look at my other thread and consider doing a sketch of Bailee. (my girl) ... I'd like to buy one like that as well.

    I just looked at the drawing. It could stand to be darker. The problem that I have is that I'm relatively new to shading and haven't really worked with darker horses. I can try another black horse and see how it turns out and then go back and re-shade her for you.

    I'll sell you this picture $10 as it is now or I can reshade it and charge $15. It may take awhile to do the re-shading because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. You would have to pay shipping. I'll look for your other thread. Thanks : ) I really enjoyed bringing her to life on paper.

    If you want to do some reshading and play with it a bit that'd be great. There's not a huge rush, so take your time and practice with another pic if you'd like. You've been doing great. :)

    Shazam! Lilruffian, that is fantastic! I had forgotten that I offered to sketch something but there is no way I could surpass that.
