Whoa that's really good!! How do you get that shading? I try to shade nicely, but it never works. Help? ;)

    Thanks

I think shading is something that comes with practise, but if I were to think of a couple of tips I would say:
-Being right handed I always shade from left to right so I don't smudge what I've just done
-I shade section by section, doing the whole thing lightly to start with then building up the darker bits layer by layer
    - Use a nice soft pencil. I mostly use a 4B
    - Use really short pencil strokes and try to blend them
    - Do all your pencil strokes in the same direction, and resist the temptation to 'scribble', even if it DOES get it done faster
    - Practise, practise, practise!

Errrr....hope that sort of answers your question, it's the best I got

No problem guys, I'm working through them, but as per usual it will take a little while. Belle, as I have quite a few to get through I will PM you my e-mail address when I'm getting closer to starting yours if that's ok, that way your pics won't get lost in my poor little laptop.

As always, thank you all for being patient

Hey, I understand there's a bit of a list ahead of me but if you could draw my boy when you have the chance, that'd be great. Here's Lakota and you can do whichever pic you'd like to.
