Tattoo

Okay so I want to get a tattoo of my horse, but have no idea what I should get. The "normal" tattoos for a horse would be a horse shoe, a saddle, a bridle, or something like that, but my horse has always been barefoot, I hate saddles and only ride bareback, and don't use a bit. I really want a horse brush, but don't know how to get it on paper.

Well I love tattoos. My whole family have them and I already have my first. I really don't want a horse head, because an artist could screw that up and not make it look like my gelding. I was hoping someone could draw me a horse brush.

Why don't you get a portrait of your horse. I have a horseshoe...and I'm thinking about getting a portrait of my horse.

I think a brush is lame.

I love horsey tattoo's! I currently have a horseshoe' with a scorpion symbol inside of it(my b-day is in November). If I were to get another tattoo I would get my horses head tattooed on me. Just a awesome back and white head shot. I don't think you would be happy with a brush in later years. Think about in 20-30-50 years from now what you will be happy with! :) Good luck let us know what you get!

This is mine and is based off my boy Swoop and I absolutely LOVE it. Really hurt but came out exactly how I wanted it.

This was before I had to go back for the second half to work on the color some more

Research you tatoo artist like you would any other professional you'd work with, as to see his work and talk to some of his clients. Anyone that is really good can look at a printed out picture or the actually item make a tatoo out of it. My guy did a wonderful job with my horse tatoo.

Well I guess I will have someone else draw me a brush. I really loving brushing my horse, I am even writing a horse grooming book because I love it so much. Guess I'm the only person who would like a brush tattoo, but isn't that the point of getting a tattoo? To represent something important in your life.

If she wants a brush tattoo, let her get one. It doesnt matter if you think it's 'lame' or if you think tattoos are 'cheap'. It's her body.

What I would suggest is taking a few pictures of the type of brush you want to your artist. He will draw it up for you exactly how you want it.
