Building new stables

We're currently in the process of deciding on what stables to build..

I want these features:
-at least 2 w/ adjoining day paddocks
-lockable tackroom
-veranda for x-ties
-horses must be able to be locked up at night

Parents want these features:
-Horses must be able to walk in and out as they please while in day paddocks
-if metal, it must go at least 1f into ground

If any suggestions or ideas what to look for it would be greatly appreciated
