Cool Eventing Barns is Ocala FL?

Hey there everyone,

I'll be attending the College of Central FL in the fall and I'm hoping to do a summer working student position. I'm not familiar with the area and although I thought that Ocala was big in eventing, I cannot find a place to even take lessons. I don't have my own horse so I would need a place with school horses. I would also like to work there during the summer perhaps for room and board/lessons. I would like to get competitive so a barn that shows would be awesome. Eventing is a must even though I am new at it, I really want to stick with it.

Thanks :)

Have you visited the Florida Horse Trials web site or FB page?

Florida Horse Trials Association (FHTA) | Facebook

FHTA - Florida Horse Trials Association, Inc.

There's a list of barns at the bottom of their home page. And I'm sure if you posted something on their wall, or e-mailed them, they might have some good suggestions for you. I wish I could help out more, but I ride just North of Tallahassee, so I'm out of your area.
