Fixin' up our barn.

Well, we moved to a new house, it has a barn. (I'm pretty dang happy about that too.)

The bad thing is though, is that the old renters of this house let their horse(s) crib, which makes me need to replace a few wood boards in the stalls.

They never even cleaned the stalls either, there is dry, old horse manure ever where in there, I feel bad for the poor horse(s) that lived their.

But, me and my dad are slowly re building it piece by piece. The outer part needs a whole new set of wood, and part of the barn metal got loose and is slapping up and down on the barn, ready to rip away, (which we can't even reach it.)

And there is ton's and ton's of spider webs, the thing is we can't spray water in the barn since where I live, our mud isn't mud. It's more of a clay mud which packs up and takes a while to dry, but we'll figure it out.

We planed after we got it all cleaned up and painted white, (well, mostly my idea here.) Is that we get different buckets of paint, dip our hands in it and place our hands all over the barn making hand prints. It's cute, but it'll probably be a year or two from now until we get that done.

But overall, I don't mind so much that it needs a lot of cleaning, I've already cleaned out a whole stall, just need to shovel the horse manure out and fix the wall's a bit and fix the feeding bin and I'll be set for a horse.

I will, if I could find a camera or something to download what it looks like, I would, but I don't have anything like that.

Try and borrow a camera if you can. I know from experience that you will wish you had before and after pictures. It is also nice for us to see what you have going on and how the improvements are coming along.
Good luck with the project.

Thanks. ^^

From where I live, no one has a camera since we moved so far away, but, I told my father to buy me a camera. When I get one, I'll then try to post pictures, but I'm unsure if my computer has any little spot to put it in, -shrugs- I have a super old computer. X_x

Every horse deserves to be loved by at least one person once in their lives.
