Due to the last 12 months being non-stop rain, we've really struggled with deep mud in the fields and around the stable entrance.
We've dug out at the front of the stable, but the area is so large, i'm at a loss as to what to do - we're also on a budget as our car has had to go for scrap this week due to the engine seizing up so that has to be replaced asap.
The ground has started to dry up now, but we have deep ruts in the fields and still very soft ground.
Does anyone have any ideas or tips - we have a foal due anytime, and i'll be afraid to let it out at the moment due to the rough ground leading into the paddocks.
Cheers
