I need a feeder that can keep most of the rain and snow out, but still allows the horses to eat from it. Nothing huge, its to put vitamins & minerals in.
Either hang or fasten to a fence or building. Nothing on the ground that they can tip.
Thanks
Do you have an overhang on a barn or shed in the pasture? If it's large enough you can utilize it. Add a gutter and downspout draining the roof on that side with a cleverly placed water tank nearby and you've got free drinking water for the horses as well (tin roofs, no asphalt shingles, they shed tiny pebbles) Posted via Mobile Device
