Not sure where to put this, so hopefully this works. I know there are a lot of people who have to sell their horses due to injury, lack of time (particularly college students), and the like, so I was thinking there may be an opportunity that could help us both. I am a horseless rider who can't afford my own horse, and I'm hoping to find someone with a horse that needs some more attention.
So let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm 15, and I've been taking dressage/jumping lessons for 7 years on hot tempered, green Arabs, Thoroughbreds, and Saddlebreds (unfortunately, this barn is an hour away, so I can't get there more than once a week). I jump 2'6"+, and know some lower-level dressage movements such as leg-yield, shoulder-in, turn on the haunch/forehand, etc. I've been working with a green horse recently, so I'm a little rusty on specific movements, but I have gotten a lot of practice with improving the horse's balance and collection.
I'm hoping to find someone with a horse that has some basic dressage or jumping training, and access to an indoor or covered arena, within 30 miles of zip code 45215.
