New Barn.....Again...(Happy Rant) Please read this thread to understand the whole story.
Rawr! Rant Ahoy......
Now that I have moved again...all I can say, is YEE-HAW!!!
OMG, this new place is SO nice....Lots of acres, the guy actually knows what he's doing, he's SUPER easy going while not being lazy, and has just about every little thing I need!!! A place to put my tack and supplies, a round pen, seperated pasture to ride in if I don't feel like riding around the other horses, and run in shelters for the horses. The ONLY thing he's missing to make this place perfect, is an area inside a barn, bathing/grooming area, and cross ties....He Does however have a large slab of concrete I might talk him into putting some wooden posts around to put up some cross ties if I even need them (my horse is a good girl lol)
The sad part about having to move again, was that she was at the previous place for only 3 weeks. Each time I have moved her, it's been for a reason, and each time, she's gotten worse about getting in a trailer. She's usually a VERY easy to trailer horse, but the last two times, she wouldn't have anything to do with it, and this last time, took the better part of an hour to get her loaded. She is CLEARLY overly stressed about moving so many times....and if I had my way, she wouldn't have been moved so often...sadly...the world doesn't revolve around what I would like lol.
As soon as I got her to the new place, I put her in the round pen while I set everything up in the tack room. Then I went out to work off a bit of steam. She was kind of jumpy and just...unhappy, I could see it. But, I worked her a good bit, and she got going GOOD! Usually she's a bit lazy, but today, she cantered for a long while, and rally started to click into her usual happy self by following me around, doing some of her tricks with ease, and so on. After a few treats, and lots of lovings, she got groomed, then turned out with the other horses. Everyone got along WONDERFULLY!!! I'm SO freaking happy I could explode! Lol.

Oh yeah, and this new place is HALF the cost of the old one, and only 6 miles away instead of 20!!!! I'll be able to see her EVERY DAY!!! Omg I'm so excited and happy!!! Lol.
