Ok I dont really as yet know you guys, but, I have had the most fantastic weekend.
I went to my freinds barn which is only 40 mins away from where I live, I keep my boys over an hour away which is a pest.
The farmer has offered me my own yard, its just down from the main yard, (i dont like being on big yards full of people they pester too much) and he said he has a seperate yard. It has two brand new stables, eight acres and its very private. Went to have a look, I can build three more stables onto it if i like, he is flattening an area for an arena, and i just bought some electric fencing to split the field into two. It also has a running spring through the field too for water which is awsome, so am going to get a filtration system for it so i dont have to worry about carrying buckets. Also therre is a lady who lives right at the back and she will give them water if their buckets go down and im not there. Its really peacefull and quiet, and it has a private bridle path that belongs to the farm running right at the side that goes for a couple of miles. I am really pleased about it and snatched his hands off lol.
I had my own yard when i lived in america and i miss it sooo much but now, just by luck i have another one, which i will build on and do as i want with it.
Though i would tell you guys my news!!

Something that came up to mind, make sure you put together some form of contract between you and the farmer to give you a safety net. The last thing you want is for one of the horses to break part of the fencing etc or anything else to happen and have the neighbor or that farmer go after you over something silly. I'm sure he wouldn't mind either. It would be a safety thing for him as well :)
