Stall Boredom

Hi,
I really hope that this is the right place to post this. My horse had to get stitches on friday, and she is on stall rest for 2 weeks. She will probibly go insane, so I was just wondering what everyones tricks are for keeping your horse occupied. She is not a fan of lickits, salt blocks, or jolly balls. I would like something that I can make at home like a milk carton filled with rocks that hang. Any Suggestions? Thanks!

One thing I've been recommended is to take a swede (rutabaga), pierce a hole through the middle and hang it up on some rope in the stable. You need to hang it away from the wall so it swings freely. It's a bit like apple-bobbing for horses - swede is usually firm and quite hard to bite, and the idea is to keep them occupied in trying to nibble it for some time. Not tried this myself, though.
