to wait or not to wait?

I have waited 10 years to have horses again. I had a very unsupportive family when it came to horses and I loved my first horse but what made me miserable was their unsupporting ways. Now I am remarried and we are going to try for another child. I already have one from my first marriage and he loves riding! yay. Well we found out we can't get approved yet for a place with land so I guess we will board. WE are supposed to start getting horses next year. I totally promised my son and definately waited long enough myself. I am so frustrated that its already been this long. I guess boarding isn't all that bad, but I'm just so ready to own my barn. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear the land option didn't work out for you. Maybe you'll make some great new friends at the barn you end up boarding at. It'll all work out! Happy hunting for your new horse(s)!

To wait or not is really up to you and your personal finances. While it would be wonderful to have your horse at home, there are certainly benefits to boarding, you don't have to work the barn if you are sick, busy etc.
Welcome back to the horse world.
