What do you think?

So the barn where I board my horse just shut down and I need to make a cheap 1 horse barn. Do you guys know how or would it be safe or what. What do you think?

I would do a lean to and fencing. YOu can build one or usually can but them already made on a skid.

Consider buying a mini to keep your horse company as it's going to be hard going from having lots of buddies to none

A three-sided lean to with the open side away from the prevailing winds and, if you are in the northern hemisphere, the north side must be closed. If possible, build it on the south side of a stand of trees.

Doesn't have to be huge. For a couple of riding horses, 15'x15' is lots. For one you could go 12 x 12, maybe less. I'd have to actually go out and measure one of my "stall" areas in my barn.
