Thanks. She's a good girl. When I was looking for a new horse last year when I retired my gelding I didn't want a mare but I went and rode her and fell in love. We run all five events but she loves poles and cloverleaf.

More like, "what didn't happen?"

Poor thing has torn just about every soft tissue structure in her left front leg--not during barrel racing, mind you, but at various times out in the pasture, as near as I can figure. At one point she had her deep digital flexor tendon ripped in three places. We've fought and fought with her injuries--and I've spent a fortune on her vet care--but apparently to no avail. She still has periodic episodes of lameness that pop up. The vet says I ought to bute her and run her, but ethically, I'm still not sure where I stand on that issue...

What is cloverleaf?

Love 3rd pic with her running with ears back.

Thanks. Cloverleaf is the basic three barrels that you see at like rodeos and NBHA shows.

Oh, I see. Didn't know it's called that way. BTW, do you also have just one barrel to run around? I've seen something like that at the local kiddie show... Not sure if it's something common though.

TThanks you! We go at some of our more local shows. Its called arena race. The local shows have five speed events. Poles, cones, Texas barrels, arena, and cloverleaf. Texas barrels are three barrels set in a straight line and you weave, turn the last barrel and weave out. Cones are kinda like poles, you just weave up and back out of the arena. Cloverleaf is by far my favorite but arena race you just haul butt and its basically whoever has the fastest horse so it's fun too.

I wouldn't bute her if she was mine , but not jusding you if you decided to , but that's too bad , she looked amazing ! She went super deep around the barrels ! My horse went lame and I buted her every day for three weeks , even when I started riding her again after two , i'm paranoid about that kind of stuff . I hope for the best though !
