Neat idea! It will be cool to see the finished product.
I myself have been competing for 22 years (different horses of course).

My new guy Red is just in training for barrels, so he's got no awards to mention as of yet!
Here's his pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/saltys+red+rock
Texas High Dasher grandson, with Jet Deck on the top too. Boston Mac/Paprika Pine mare.

But my retired guy will need to be in there for sure. I sure miss competing on him. I was going to start rodeo'ing on him this year now that I had finally finished school, but we didn't get that chance. At local family rodeos and horse shows, he did win me several all-around awards and a lot of money. Most days we'd pay back our entry fees, plus fill the truck with diseal AND have money left over. He did well for me. He even found a new gear in the last couple years, to start winning the 1D once in a while.

I bought him as a 6 month old, started taking him to shows at age 4, and I just retired him this year at age 14.

Reg Name: Ravishing Beau
Barn name: Beau
1998 APHA gelding, 16.1 hh

Beau actually is more halter/showing bred, but he sure took to the speed events.

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.

Awesome! I'm gonna start putting together parts. :) There's still time for anyone to submit some things if they want to take part though.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

BarrelRacingLvr, how the heck can you run with sunglasses on?? I've tried and I always end up losing them running..It sucks! I have another question.. What's with all of the feathers and stuff? Do y'all have some kind of theme? We aren't allowed to run with anything like that going on..Especially association shows, we can't even wear sleeveless shirts. Association shows don't allow hats at State Championships either, if you run with a hat you get DQ'd.. We have crazy rules.

My sunglasses hug my face...Or if they don't I stuff the sides into my hair.

And Bubsy, be gone woman :'D I already have everything you've ever ran and given me on a DVD.

BarrelRacingLvr....I thought you were 18? You've been competing since you were 2?

FWIW I like running in sunglasses in an outdoor pen. Nothing gets in my eyes ;)
