I'm thinkin of just runnin her in D ring snaffle? Idk
Are you currently running her in a snaffle?

Does she work well in it?

If so, why do you want to switch her? There's no rule in barrel racing that says you have to run in something else. USE WHAT WORKS on your horse.

Robyn Herring often runs her horse Happy in a plain ol' snaffle. (Please note that Happy is the famous stallion known as Fire Water on the Rocks.)

Anyway, just want to point out that you don't have to switch from your snaffle, if you horse works well in it.

I use a jr. Cowhorse as well, its a double jointed mouth piece with a copper roller in the center. I got it at my local tractor supply. I also sometimes use an eggbutt snaffle with a copper roller for flexing excercises. I try to change up bits every so often.
