I am sure you have all heard of the tea-cup pigs...BUT they are just SO cute! I am trying to talk my mom into one.....the look she is giving me right now is PRICELESS lol. I love piggly wigglys! And could totally picture myself with a travelling piggly companion, especially these cute little buggers....

And my sisters boyfriend raises mini Brahmas.....I could SO get JJ one as a companion and me a traveling piggly wiggly!! EEEKK!!

See they are smaller then BIG dogs!

MUAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAA

And no I am NOT some crazy person who escaped the insane asylum

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.

I have a mini pig. She is only 15 pounds. I absolutely LOVE her! They are so smart and great travel partners! She is a house piggy so she is kind of spolied! Haha!

barrelracer11, Charlotte is SO CUTE! I've always wanted a pet pig. And now for a bunch of questions...Where did you get her? Is she house-trained? Can they live with other animals (cats/dogs/etc.) in the house? How expensive is it to keep them (feed/vet/etc.)? What are the drawbacks to owning a pet pig?

Thank you! They are definitely GREAT pets! I got her in Metamora, MI at Windward Oaks farm. She is house trained to a litter box. She was three months old when I got her and already trained. She WILL NOT go potty outside of her box unless you tell her to go when we are outside. They can live with other animals. They really just leave them alone. They are more in there own little world. Haha! You generally don't take mini pigs to the vet to get shots or anything because it is risky. When I got her she was already spayed and wormed and that was it. I did take her to the vet one time because she had a seizure and they did a blood test and that was it. They didn't charge me at all. So I'm not sure about that aspect of it but generally vet care isn't needed. I buy mini pig feed and it's $12 for a bage and that usually lasts a month. I also give treats and veggies to! Her litter is $5 a bag and that will last you a month or two depending on the way you clean and how often they go potty. As far as drawbacks I don't know of any. They can be loud at times and will be stubborn as well. As babies they like to explore so they are like puppies and will eat things. They really are great pets though and can be taught tricks! I am planning on getting another soon!
