Smile Barrel Saddles

Im looking to buy a new barrel saddle. Just wondering what kind evryone uses on here. I cant make up my mind between a Billy Cook or Reinsman. The one I have now is not a "barrel saddle" its just an all-around western saddle. I decided that since Im riding a new horse, I need a new saddle. Anyway, just wondering if all you barrel racers had any advice? Thanks!!

You will almost definitely be more satisfied with a Billy Cook!! The quality is wayyy better! I ride in a Dakota though. :) :)

I ride in a Premier but they are no longer being made. The closest seat to them is the Caldwells.
Billy Cooks are nice middle of the road saddles if you dont want to spend too much and still want decent quality.

I did have a lady email me trying to sell her 2002 Martha Josey saddle for $575. Looks nice. Here's a pic:

Teskey's! Bought one after drooling over a friends. Very comfortable saddles that sit you in and hold you in. Very good quality and nice to look at.

I barrel race and you need to find a PRO Choice Rider by Mike and or Talamage Green! They are the BEST! I love to barrel race AND casual ride in mine!

I have two corriente trophy saddles. They have lasted me YEARS! I've never had a problem with anything on the saddle breaking or wearing down. The fleece is still in awesome shape and they fit to my horses really well
