I watched the first episode and I couldn't stand it. I won't be watching another. I understand that they have to "create" some things to make reality TV entertaining, but it's too much for me. Too forced. I guess that's why I really don't watch any reality TV for the most part, like Housewives, Jersey Shore, Kardashians, etc. If I am going to watch actors and actresses on a reality show, I might as well watch a fictional show.
I guess in part it also bothers me that so many things about barrel racing are portrayed incorrectly. Yes, they are going to change things for a reality show, but maybe that's what I don't like. There's no airhorn to signal the start of your run. All the girls are not going to run one after the other. A simple stumble around the barrel (and not a "fall" as she tried to explain it) is not going to make you run a 23-sec run, when the winning time is a 17-something. And I'm pretty sure the price tag on that horse was NOT $200,000 (I heard it was actually around $80,000).
I guess I just don't like forced and made-up drama on a "reality" show. To each his own.

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.
