Bling help!

Okay, so I need to figure out a color or a set that would go with my mare. She is a bright palomino color with soft dapples and of course white mane and tail. I was thinking hunter orange or something.

Purple always looks really good on palominos too :) I found the first 2 pics off google and the 3rd is of my friend's mare just to show how they look in purple!

Palomino goes really well with hunter green (Not lime), black, pink, blue, and purple. Sometimes they look good in red, but that depends on the shade. My colt right nows goes in pink because it compliments his soft color of palomino. Sometimes purple, if I take my mare she gets pink and he gets purple but if we're alone he gets pink.

Orange would be okay but it would have to be a dark orange, more rusty I think. I believe Legacy makes a rusty orange boot that is the color I am referring to.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Generally speaking, warm colored horses (most chestnuts and palominos, some bays) tend to look better in cool colors like the blues and greens and purples, even black.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog:
