Corriente saddles?

What do you all think about them? I've been looking for a saddle that has a higher cantle than my billy cook and I've heard Corriente saddles are great saddles that fit a lot of different types of horses. Also, I really don't want to buy a brand new one, but I think I may have to, I can't find a used one anywhere in a 15 inch. Reviews on them though please? Should I purchase one?

I have one! I love it. I only paid $560 (shipping included) for it brand new. In fact, it was made to my order. The fenders and jockeys are very soft and flexible. The whole saddle is fantastic quality for that price. From what I could tell, they aren't super well known, so I imagine finding a used 15" barrel saddle would be difficult because it's pretty specific.

The seat isn't super secure like a lot of barrel saddles. It's one of the flatter ones I've seen/sat it, but I like it. I was on a budget when saddle shopping and got the recommendation from Smrobs, who uses Corriente saddles, and I trusted her opinion. Also, they only make 7" gullets, so you need a wide horse for it to fit.

I can also tell you that they have fantastic customer service and are very friendly, so if you have any specific questions, call them and ask.

Green Broke
From what I understand they only come in FQ bars.
If that works, I say go for it, you wont be dissapointed for the price!
I think they are one of the most under rated saddles ou there!

Poseidon, do you have the exact link to order a custom saddle? (barrel saddle I think?) My friend is looking to buy a new saddle and I think she might like them!

https://corrientesaddleco.com/ Just their website. You have to call them to place an order, but if you click on barrel saddles, you can see all of their options. They have a whole list of suede seat colors and quite a few stingray leather patterns. All of the suede ones come with rainbow stitching too. Haha.

I have a half-breed with full floral skirt and a black suede seat.

They are nice saddles....but the stirrups are to free swinging and throw me forward and my feet back.

I have been drooling over the CSB 505 https://corrientesaddleco.com/BARRELS.php

Same color with the fill wild rose and have them add silver to the skirt. It will be perfect! I just wish I could ride in one and see how it fit my horse first. I think I will definitely ask them if they could ship me one of their Bargain Deal barrel saddles to try out first.

Good saddle regardless of the price. I had one a few years ago but ended up selling it due to a new horse I got that the saddle just didn't fit. If you have a horse that will go in a FQH bar (7" gullet), it's a good deal.
