The slightest change in leg pressure, I push my arms forward a bit and shift my weight and it may seem weird but I also THINK which cue. With my gelding you literally don't touch your leg to him unless your asking him something,
I let someone who "knew what they were doing" on his back once and it was so funny they were all forward and just gripping him with their legs it was hilarious watching how he reacted.
Each situation and each horse is different and should be handled different, but typically since I like such catty horses, I want them to respond to the smallest subtle cue, so I only exaggerate as much as that horse needs and eventually tighten it up and refine it. Posted via Mobile Device
