Critique my APHA mare (Barrel Prospect)

Scratch is a 3 y/o registered APHA solid paint (3/4 QH , has king ranch horses in her lines) she is 3 years old and about 14.3 hands. She is a barrel prospect and I want to know her flaws and what is good on her. Oh and excuse how sweaty she is that was after a workout. She isn't very cooperative for pics so I did my best for conformation shots !

She looks just...long in general to me. Like her back and neck. I'm not very good at conformation admittedly, but that's just what I see. Long is typically weaker. She also appears to be long in the fetlock which could potentially cause problems. All in all theres no reason why you couldn't train this horse to barrel race, but I wouldn't expect to make a pro horse out of her. Maybe someone else can give you a better critique.

Here you go...again.

There is something wonky about her back like right before her hip almost like a bump it looks like....could have just been the way the saddle sweat mark makes it look. She is a little long but nothing screams at me that she could not do barrels.

Could you possibly get an actual video of her moving, preferably from both side, the front and the back?

I can tell you that I would like to see more muscling on her rear, but she's young so that's to be expected. From the still shots, nothing really jumps out at me that is wrong with her. Her back is a tad bit long, but she is likely to grow into it.

With her being only three, she has anywhere from 2 to 3 years of growing left to do. Take your time training her, and ALWAYS use protective leg gear for her, preferably some that actually offer support. Like either Pro Choice or Classic Equine. Always keep in mind that she is young, and her bones are no where near knitted. I personally I don't like to start actual barrel training until the horse is a long 4 y/o or short 5. But there is plenty of training that you can do in the mean time.
