I hardly know much about speed events, however & others can correct me if I am wrong in regards to this, but I notice when you weave the poles, you don't move at the waist, you just move your arms. Equitation, we move at the waist & the upper body follows, arms stay still.

Yeah wares is right. Relax yor back. Additionally, I saw a clown, a pig, and a Lamborghini in tha clouds on video 2.

Now I've never made a 19-second pole run, but I have always been told when you get moving really fast like that you barely want to move your hands/reins at all and stay pretty still to let your horse work.

So I guess I was trying to do the same thing with him. Try to stay out of his way as much as possible, while still giving him enough help.

Anywho ...... bad news though guys. Red has felt "off" the last couple weeks in his front end and I got him to the vet this morning. Details are here:
Crooked joints in a 7-yr-old? Possible navicular changes???

But basically, his physical joints are crooked in his feet.
