    Feels great to run again

I had been laid up for a month because of a car accident and I was more than excited to feel good enough today to get to ride.

Here's one of the horse's runs. He's a 19 year old quarter horse that was just started on the barrels 2 months ago as a back up for my up n coming youngster.

And a couple pics of my baby, Trip.

    I just felt like sharing!

He's the only one who runs ONLY to the left. He was a tough horse to teach how to turn to the left... so it's easier to teach one left turn rather than two. My other one is mainly a righty but will run to the left if we have to.

I remember how when I tore something in my ankle and I couldn't ride for almost 2 months it seemed. I thought I was going to die. Then I got on my Jima horse and told everyone that I wasn't getting off again. Lol

Yup, I was used to riding 6 days a week... so going from that to NONE for a month is torture.

I go left, right, right as well. My barrel horse is better with right turns. But anytime I use one of our other horses I go that way out of habit

I have always gone left right right. I am right handed and to me, it only makes sense to make two right handed turns instead of two left.

Both are beautiful horses...good run with your standby!
