Finding history on my former barrel horse (AZ)

Hi all, I purchased a 16 hand red dun gelding in December. He was sold to me as grade from a lady who purchased him in the spring of last year (2010) who did not have any contact information for the woman she bought him from. All she knew is that he was supposedly a very good barrel racer in the Phoenix/Tucson area, but eventually it became impossible to get him into the arena, so she sold him off to a non-barrel racing home. What I am looking for is ANY information to find out more history on him or contact information for the former owner(s). The horse's name was Chase (because she paid for him with her credit card) and is the horse in my avatar. I've Googled and did other internet searching but so far no luck.... Anyone have any info or remember seeing him race?? Thanks for your time
