Okay, I think I need to clarify a few things before people jump to conclusions that I am a bad horse owner.
The idea of breeding Heidi is indeed a distant after thought that will only come to mind if it is foudd out she will be retired from the arena.
If she was to be bred, I would get multiple opinions from vets before I would do anything.

I don't even know if this is a serious injury or her being off in her back/etc.

I'm just worried about her so I put this thread here in order to vent some feelings.

Hoping for the best for you and Heidi. I know the feeling right now with two injured horses, one who may or may not come back to compete.
Wait and see what the vet has to say, in the meantime keep her comfortable and happy.
