    It's possible the new owner never transferred the mare into their name... Which would be a hold up.

    If they have any type of paper work, you have to file paperwork for the dam and sire, I would call the AQHA and see what could be done.

    Is the current owners name correct? Could be they just moved!

    Are the foals AQHA or APHA? Since he is reg as both it could be the transferred him only in APHA? :S

    That's definitely not the name of the people who currently have the stud

    I'm confused now. Will definitely need to call them. It's not super important as I really don't care much about papers but it still seems weird.

    That's possible! Weird though isn't it?

    Turns out I was mistaken about them having regd foals by him. On the site the only offspring by him are the 06 mare, 07 stud, and 08 mare. They are all out of My XS Cash, and none are registered.

    That all being said; if the horse is listed for the price they have on the website and it would cost you $500 to register him AQHA (if its even possible) I think in the end, after much training, he would still be worth the price.
