Haha ya we have had our head butts this year but we are starting to figure things out and get to where we need to be. He is going to be so nice when he is finished! Can't wait to see what next season brings us :)

I'm going to come steal Polly.. If she disappears do not look at my house..

    Anyway!

Here are a few of mine, nothing special.. I don't have any of my old videos on Youtube and I don't get to show near as much as I want to right now.

    Nikki

Old video of Hickory just for laughs, I think 2006?.. I didn't check him near enough going into that first barrel. It was a pattern we hadn't ever ran before so he's looking for the second barrel like "Mom wth is this!?"..

2010 Hickory cones.. Pulled him out of the pasture that morning - hadn't been to a show in 3 years. All of the ladies were laughing at me and my fat 14hh Frog.. We ended up 2nd. They weren't pleased. Lol

Aw, your ol' fat Hickory is a speedy little guy! Those cones look like fun! Never underestimate the fat ones out of the pasture. They're full of piss and vinegar and can fly!!

Well I suppose I can join in on the sharing of the videos.

ALL my videos are on my YouTube Channel
    ravbeau's channel - YouTube

Red is not up to running speed yet (we're still really working on just plain loping!), so here's a few of his practices.

Speaking of pulling old fat horses out of the pasture ..... Last year I decided to bring along our Nokoto/Welsh mare, rather than making her stay at home all by herself. She's about 13.3 hands, and was 18 years old in that video, and is actually now living with a family with 6 kids. She's getting some riding and lots of TLC and attention!!! But I brought her with to this show for the heck of it. She wasn't too keen on the flags though ..... I don't think we had taken her along to a show in a good 4 years. But she won me a ton of money in other events earlier that day!! (including bareback dollar race and the egg race) Still good at age 18, even with a bum scarred leg.

Hmm, forgot I had this one. Was one of those days during school that I wanted to procrastinate instead of study!!!

One of Beau's best runs and one of his best days! He earned me the high point adult that day and won me a buckle, out of 200+ contestants at a family rodeo.

And since you're bored and looking for entertainment, I love this video of the sack race. My mom's horse was out with a laminitis flare up, so I partnered with a local girl. The "pony" at the time was about 28 years old, and FAST. So we did a big horse, little horse sack race! We smoked it and won.

That's for sure! MHFoundationQuarters stopped by my house a few weeks ago and met my crew. I got Hickory out and wanted to *lope* the pattern bareback.. Nah, that wasn't happening. He wanted to RUN! And got pissy when I wouldn't let him.. He then proceeded to try to buck me off.. Gotta love old fat horses. Eye roll.

    Tee-hee.

And it's even funnier when the fat old horse **tries** to buck you off, but they're so old and fat it's not more than a few inches off the ground.

That's how our little grey mare was, in the video I posted. She would try to be naughty, and sometimes I wouldn't even correct her because I was laughing so hard at her attempt to buck.

Exactly, that's how Hickory is.. If he's feeling froggy at a show people are staring as he's trying his best to get me off and it's just not happening, I know him too well.

I really like the little grey mare!
