Introduce/Showoff Your Barrel Horses

I thought it would be nice to have a thread to show off and introduce your barrel horses. Have fun and post away!

Rocky

This is Rocky (aka Magic Rocket Bar). He was for the most part a pasture ornament with his previous owners and is now a 2D/3D horse. He is not without flaws but is a great horse. He has really come a long way in the time we have had him.
Here is a link to watch our run in the IBRA Finals Short Go.

Its nice to see a guy running barrels! I got my husband a barrel/playday horse, and the horse is teaching him patterns.
Husband is still learning how to ride lol. He use to rope back in college. Culture shock.

I'll play along..I have my three..

Nu Kinda Nic - 11 yr old Quarter Horse, she's my "Go To" girl. Always honest and just a fantastic horse. We finished third overall this year in my association and she has taken me to State Championships every year I've had her.

Papa Hickory Doc - my 22yr old retired gelding - This guy is loads of personality and is my Love. I don't know what I would do without this guy. He doesn't show much anymore because I've got my girls but he loves to game still and doesn't like to be left at home...The picture is from State Championships in September, with my little sister on him.

And finally my new mare..

Land Oh Lark - 12 yr old Quarter Horse, I actually just got Lark and I'm realllllly excited about getting with the girl. She's the fastest thing I've ever ridden and I can't wait to see where we go together!

Gidget and horseryder like this.

I am Sparkly Meanie Doodie Head and I approve this message!

This is my Bailey girl....The first pic is her with her previous rider Katie, the next one is one after our ride (Sweaty beasty)

I am going to get some more today at our lesson so I'll have some more up. I haven't had much of a chance to take anymore good ones of her.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Its good to see all your barrel horses seem to have a level head on their shoulders. Alot of them jig and rear and prance before going into the ring

Here's my mare that I began barrels with... she never did catch on so... we kissed barrels bye bye and kept roping.

I have 2 prospects!!!!

First, my 3 year old grade who will learn the pattern in Spring:

And my long yearling who is Givemalickin and Blue Boy Quincy bred:
