    Jubees first actual barrel lesson

So today we had to pick up gi's horse classy from the trainers place well we set up a lesson as well so we brought up gi's moms horse hottie and jubee and had a barrel lesson. Tracy was totally awsome and jubee is picking everything up crazy fast. This was only her 2nd time off the property in awhile and they had a mini horse and they also had a foal and jubee freaked at first but she soon calmed down and totally zoned in. By the time we were picking up a faster trot she wanted to just go. She got a bit frisky and a touch frustrated a couple times and gave me a nice couple bucks but all in all I was EXTREMLY proud of her. She has come a long way from the I don't want to go forward mare I met a couple months ago :] We are almost positive she will be ready to start running by next year so fingers crossed!! Tracy said she was great she has good bend listens well to leg pressure its just keeping her straight she tends to drift a bit but she got better and was staying in fairly tight and bending amazingly by the end of the lesson :]
