Just as one barrel got better....

The next got worse!

Because Peanut is a seasoned seasoned seasoned heading horse, she naturally prefers going left, so I've really been working on getting our right barrel nice and snappy, but when that barrel got good, she started ducking into 2nd, so now I have something else to work on. *le sigh* As you can see, in the last clip, she sort of stumbled at 2nd, which is partially my fault cause I fought her away from the barrel and she REALLY wanted to whack my knee on it.

Hahaha I totally feel your pain. Selena almost always has one bad barrel this early in her hauling. First she was ducking in on the second barrel, now she has a good second barrel but a wide first barrel. Darned horses. Lol

I guess they like to keep us on our toes as much as we try to keep them thinking too...
