Leo as a barrel horse?

Ok so I bought leo about 6 months ago, without me telling you anything about him, except that he is 14.3 hands and FAST! What do you think of him as a barrel horse? Also I have to post my pics seperate if it will let me, my computer is not very good.

ANY horse can barrel race at the lower levels. All he needs is to have the heart for it.

That's really all I can say with out knowing what he looks like or how he was bred.

Ok I just looked at his profile. It looks like you are already barrel racing him?

We have been working on it, but I've only taken him to two shows, he did decent but that was before I really got to working with him. I was just wanting to know what everyone elses opinions were on his conformation as far as barrel racing.

He looks like a nice horse to me. I like his rump for turning, and he looks fast from what I've seen in those pictures. So long as he likes doing it there really isn't anything to stop you. Just work a lot on it. Teach him to run, teach him to turn, and then teach him to do both at once.
