I have a KO Trading custom barrel saddle..I absolutely love it..

How do you like your Bob Marshall saddles? I've been interested in them but I've never had the chance to sit in one and I've heard mixed feelings..It'd have to be a kick *** saddle to get me to give up my KO though..

I love my Bob Marshalls, I used them when I was younger then went to the Treed for a few years. But my gelding no matter what saddle I had on him he would sore up and just not move out like I wanted. So I went back to the BMs and won't go back to a treed.

They do ride and feel a bit different than a treed so it takes a few rides to get used to the way it goes. Which is where people make the mistake and don't give the saddle a chance, they ride in it once and decide they hate them. I know a lot of people who hated them at first but the more they rode in them the better they liked them.

So I am kinda biased lol but I love mine and have not had a problem with them. I have used them on many different horses with different builds and they all rode well in the saddles. My horses are a lot freer and move out better than in a treed. And I can feel my horses way better then in a Treed.

But like I said I love mine and won't trade them for anything else.

Nah, I'm definitely open minded about tack and new things..KO have just always been my favorite. I'm all about what works best for myself and my horse..I just have to see, feel, and try something before I buy it. Laugh. I'm a touchy feely person.

Mines done by jerry bethune light blue seat light oil 15 in and I love it. Always been comfortable day 1 I went out on a 3 hour ride up in the mountains on one of the nutty arab mares and it was very comfortable. I have used it on many different horses and never had a problem. Six of us got them and all love them.
On a paint mare I rode for a while

I don't actually have a barrel saddle...yet. I'm going to buy one within the next week soooo..... yeah. I'm looking at a used Billy Cook and another one with a round skirt...

But, I've been barrel racing in my Master Canada Saddlery rope saddle...

I think my horses would boogie a bit faster if they didn't have 60 pounds on the, not including me.

This is my hereford barrel saddle. It is the single most comfortable, secure saddle I have ever ridden in. It seats me perfect. It is a 14'' seat, and if I'm going to be on a horse that is going to buck, rear, or be silly....**** right I want to be in THIS saddle, and none other will do as well!

No pictures on this computer. :/ But I have a Billy Cook, Circle S, Circle Y, and a custom one that doesn't have a brand.

1st one (on the sorrel) was an off-brand that I used for 6 years. Loved it!
2nd one (on the bay tobiano) is a Billy Cook and is now my number one saddle.
3rd one is a a Double T that I'm going to try. It won't come until mid-April but I really like the looks of it and hope it fits my mare and is comfy for me. If not, I'll sell it and get another Billy Cook.
