I'm kind of bored at the moment... So, lets see some pictures of your barrel horses! Here's mine! He's a 12 year old grandson of Easy Jet
*Sorry about the first picture lol I was looking down because I lost my inside stirrup and my life flashed before my eyes! My horse loves the pattern and is quick!
*Oh yeah, and I promise that the ground is tilled around the barrels. These pictures are just from me loping around the barrels at home. I don't have a professional one from a race yet...
Denim Peaches (Cutter) Cutter is a 14.3 quarter horse gelding that I got only a year ago. We have had an amazing and heart wrenching year together. In a pole bending accident early into our season he ended up going blind in one eye. This didn't slow him down however as only three weeks later he placed 2nd in poles and 3rd in barrels at the state fair.
Candi Sue (Candi) Candi is 15.3 mustang/paint mare. I have had her for over six years but only started racing her two years ago. She is a mare with attitude but can really run. She is and awesome pole bender and can turn barrels. Our first year was a little rough but she got her stuff together and does great at every show she runs at!
-sigh- I really don't have any action shots. I had a whole file of professional photos on my old laptop....But uh....let's just say that laptop isn't alive anymore and therefor all my files are dead and gone.
Right now I am working with Selena. I no longer have a finished barrel horse since I don't have Bailey now, but Selena is catching on fast. I love showing her off
And then this is Ruger, our 3yr old. He's been off for a little while and will be worked more in the summer.
All of your horses are so pretty!! I'm sorry to hear that your horse went blind in one eye, BarrelRacer11!! :/ I'm glad that he still runs though! SorrelHorse, I know how you feel!! I just recently bought mine! Before I didn't have a finished barrel horse for around 6 to 8 months! ...maybe longer! It feels really good to have a finished one again! lol I did love training my mare Trixie though! mom2pride, your horse is super cute!!
This is Mack. ( 5 yr old appy appendix) I wouldnt say he's a full blow barrel horse just yet, but ive been working with him all winter in hopes he'll be ready by show season. he LOVES his barrels, especially the third

Do you still have your old laptop? I had the same problem and there is a cord you can buy that will transfer all your files to another computer. My old laptop wouldn't turn on, I took the hard-drive out, super easy to do, hooked it up to my new one and all my pictures are now on my new one. Cord cost my $30 from Best Buy, then I returned it a few days later. LoL.
-The liver chestnut in the first 2 pictures is my 2012 lease mare, Avalanche.
-The 2nd 2 pictures are of my old barrel pony, Dakota.
-The last picture is my mare now, Chilly.
LoveMyAppyx0o, your horse looks IDENTICAL to my mare at my dad's house!! Gorgeous, by the way  CLaPorte432, your horses are all really pretty!! I seem to attract chestnuts... In fact, I have 12 horses. Four of them are bays and the rest are chestnuts, except for my mare at my dads house, which is an Appy
Here's my current boy a project I took on in 2010 but was given to me by my BO in august 2011. He is a 1997 arab gelding that was previously raced, did endurance and then sat for a good while before I took him on. Love him to death but may be looking for a more promising barrel horse next year.
Nikki - Nu Kinda Nic Quarter Horse
She's my 12 year old appendix TB/QH mare..She's my "go-to" girl and I know every time I point her in the arena she's going to work for me and give me her all..She loves her job and thinks she wins every time she comes out of the arena..

Lark - Land Oh Lark Quarter Horse
She's my newest addition 13 year old QH, I got her last November. Even though I've "known" her for quite a few years. She had taken a year off because her last owner didn't have time for riding. It's been a slow road back but she's really, really starting to work nice for me..I'm soo ready to start showing her this season and see what she's going to give me.

And finally the Fatty..Aka Hickory, my semi-retired old man..22 year old QH Papa Hickory Doc Quarter Horse
He has absolutely taught me everything..from winning to falling in from of a ton of people. He is a spoiled brat and is an excellent Pasture Supervisor. He is in semi-retirement because I just don't have the time or room to haul three horses to a show, I always have my sister and her horse with me...He is always jealous when the girls are headed out and he is stuck at home..
I found a couple of really bad pictures lol and I found a video on my facebook page I can't upload the video on here because I was tagged in it and the video's privacy settings are just for friends. :? but, anyhoo, I'll get some pics this summer if I go up there!
BTW, she was a rescue! I have been working with her to try and adopt her out! ...I was hoping that eventually she could find her way to my house  I love her though and count her as mine
This is my main guy right now, JJ 7yr old QH Gelding
Scrat who is 5yr old QH Gelding who is still in training and coming along great!
Polly 9yr old OTQH mare who we have owned for a few years but just now starting her on the pattern, still in the very slow stage of training and catching on well.
Those are the 3 I am currently riding and hauling with me. Sorry for the huge pictures.
