My first time Barrel Racing

Lol these are pics from my first time barrel racing um I was riding a 16.5 hand thouroughbred and yes the Camp counselours made me do it in an english saddle. And the 3rd pic of me cantering it wasn't that I was nervous I had to lean far back because of the horses back problem his owner made me lean far back to canter him. I'm pretty sure my time was 36 seconds and this was a trot and canter barrel racing. Lol Enjoy my amatuer photos.

I'm not sure if the horse was on the wrong lead in the 3rd pic.

Oh you english riders:) ha ha well I will let you know ( even though I am sure you already know this) it would be alot easier in a western saddle! Ha ha
Have you ever tried on a trained barrel horse?

Yes I have ridden trained barrel horses, my horse is actually a trained barrel racing horse. I've done it both english and western.
