It needs to fit your horse. What type do you need? Full or semi? How long is the horses back - will it need a rounded skirt or is square ok? Etc.

Well, if your doing a lot of training, trophy saddles are great!

I like the trophy Teskey and the Rocking R.

I like the Dakota. And the Billy Cook. I've had a Billy Cook for 10 years now and it's my favorite saddle ever. It's perfect.

But it all depends on what fits your horse...

I wish I could train with someone. You're lucky.

Hands down the Tesky or the Billy Cook

No offense - but if you train a lot of horses, you need a basic saddle fitting education. Many training issues can be traced to poorly fitted saddles.

We own 8 QH. They range from light boned to the heavy bodied foundation QH. We own several saddles to ensure the saddle fits the particular horse we are riding.

Teskey or Billy Cook. Both resale well, especially since the cook is from sulfur. The cook may have a bit of a higher price, but I guarantee that you'll have no problem selling it in the future.
