I haven't been around in a while so I'm just stumbling across this! I am down to two horses now.. 6 tack sets, lots of different boots, other head stalls and breast collars..

Nikki has two sets.. A Circle Y set that I stripped down, filed the conchos down and added crystals to everything. It's my "Snowflake" set.

She has a custom Dazzle Rock set.

Hickory has two custom sets.. One by Double D Bling.

This is actually Nikki in his set about three years ago. I don't have any good pictures of it with me. It's a light brindle cowhide with brown and AB crystals.

This is an older set of Hickory's... Picture taken like 5 years ago.

This is currently what I run in.. Dazzle Rock set, giraffe boots, pink bell boots.. pink and brown ESP pad.

Sadly, I'm having to give up my bling for a little while moving to cutting horses and sorting horses.. BUT I'm looking forward to a new opportunity and it'll probably save myself some money not buying blingy tack! Even though I'm taking a little bling over to the sorting world.. They just don't know it yet.

I did.. Hard decision but I did what was best for both of us.. I sold her back to her previous owner.. She now has her for sale as a "Child safe 1D barrel horse.".. Yeah.. A few people have called me asking about her and I've just told them the truth, Owner is mad about me for it but I'd hate to see a kid or beginner get hurt on her.. It makes me sad.

No, it's not the same owner.. She's actually the same woman I bought Nikki from.. I was very surprised when I saw Lark's sale ad, I was shocked when I saw that she was advertising her as a child safe barrel horse when she shouldn't ever compete again.. Much less with a child.

It does make me nervous.. I thought Owner would be more responsible and careful with Lark, actually let her just probably be a trail horse or find a job she likes to do. I'd also hate to see Lark go to another person that's going to be rough with her and man handle her.. That possibility really upsets me, she's a really good horse on trails, the ground, working with beginners on trails and around the house. She's even boyfriend safe.. She just shouldn't have to run barrels anymore.

Question, what's everyone think looks best on a bay horse? He's not a dark bay. I'm going with the base color of white but want another color for conchos and reins. Accents. I can't decide if blue or turquoise would look better, or even a combination of the two or another color. It's going to be awhile but I would like to buy him some boots of his own soon.

drum- fingers crossed that she wont go to a home that does barrels, especially with what has happened to you

barrelracer23-I think almost any color looks good on a bay. I think the colors you have picked out would be awesome! White with blue or turquoise would look great!

Lol red duns look good in turquoise. My colors have always been pink and turquoise but I don't like pink on my dun or my bay. My dun is in turquoise and black, I just haven't been sure if I wanted turquoise again. But I defiantly want a white alligator breast collar.

Drum- Check out Corriente! They make amazing saddles, my roper is frrom them. I was weary at first, but after getting it I love it. It's solid and it holds up to almost anything. Most of the time if you want something custom or added they can do it for you. Whether you want some flashy silver added or a custom colored seat, maybe your initials on the fenders. If you call you'll most likely talk to the owner or his wife. They are hand made I paid $585 for mine shipped to my door. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another saddle from them, I've been looking at their saddles again. Ah, the addiction. LOL.

NOW- I HAVE to brag about this. The boyfriend got me a ring for Christmas and it's shiny and amazing, so I believe it fits here. So perfect for me I can't even explain! He's definitley a keeper, and said he said it would look better with a bigger diamond in the middle. Trying not to be excited, but hoping that means what a girl would think it supposed to mean, lol. The picture doesn't due it justice, but I had to share!
