Which one should i keep?

ok so i have 2 paint stud colts. One is out of my mare, born in july of last year, and one is out of my neighbors, born in may of last year. I bought the second one off my neighbor a month ago. They are both overos. The only issue i have is that im now selling all my horses except 2 broodmares 1 gelding, and 1 colt. So im selling one of my overo colts. One is registered and ones not, but i dont care about that because i know both of their parents and grandparents and i know the bloodlines well. Theres a sad reason one isnt registered (not anything to do with the horse really) So which one do i keep? they both have good bloodlines for barrel racing but i would rather go off conformation, bloodlines does mean alot to me but i dont want to give one of them a disadvantage. They do have completely differnet body types, but different doesnt mean bad! and colt #2 has alot of good racing thoroughbred in him. Heres the colts..

Colt #1;; Tillys Tango (aka Kid) and overo dam and his sire

ALSO TELL ME HOW MUCH YOU PERSONALLY WOULD SELL THE OTHER ONE FOR, JUST YOUR OPINION. i KNOW ITS HARD WITHOUT THE PEDIGREE BUT JUST AS FAR AS CONFORMATION.

You can upload them from your computer when you are posting your thread by clicking the little paperclip. When you hover your mouse over it, itshould say "Attachments" and a new box window will pop up. You upload your files there, one at a time, then close the window and click the paperclip again for a drop-down menu. Then insert the picture you want.

And on Tango.....Not all of thepictures looklike the same horse? lol, I'm not sure if that's suupposed to happen or not xD

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

In tangos pics i have his recent pics, his baby pics, and pics of his sire and dam. And Tango is actually unregistered, i only know his daddys side. And sampson is sonny dee bar on the top and his mom was an appendix with racing bloodlines on both sides. Nothing too well known though.

It's really hard to tell without good confo shots. Just from what you've got here, i like the overall build of the first colt better, but love the markings and flash of the 2nd.. First colt looks like he'll be a stocky and powerful fellow while the other will be leaner.
I'm no barrel expert but would probably choose the first guy

thats exactky what i would describe their body types as, i have been leaning a little towards the 1st too. I just wondered if sampsons speed bloodlines would help him in the future

Well if you're going on his Thoroughbred lines, again im no barrel expert but i would want QH racing lines. TB's are bred for speed over long distances, not short bursts and sharp turns. I'd say the power the first colt will be packing in his back end will help him sufficiently more ;)

If you want a decision based off of conformation, you really need to post good squared up shots from the side of both colts. I would also like to compare the two after you have had them both in your care for a while so they are conditioned the same if you want a true comparison. The first one is in much better condition which makes him look stockier. The second one may look stockier once he is in better condition.

With what is provided I would go with the first one right now, but I really wouldn't rule the 2nd one out until I had a good side conformation shot of him.

All I pay my psychiatrist is cost of feed and hay, and he'll listen to me any day!
