Arrow Oregon Barrel Trainers

Hey everyone! So I have been training Trigger on my own on barrels- my current trainer doesn't work barrels or gaming of any kind aside from showing. He is low to the ground, quick and can stop/turn on a dime! I would love at least a single lesson with a trainer or someone experienced to see how he is doing. If you know of anyone or are a trainer or even super experienced with barrels I would love to talk with you- I could also post a video if someone would like to critique on here. Thanks all!

I don't live anywhere near Oregon, so I can't help you with finding a trainer, but maybe SorrelHorse or BarrelHorseLvr would be able to help because they are kind of from that neck of the woods.

You can certainly post a video of yourself! We'll do our best to make suggestions at what you can improve or what you are currently doing well.

If you haven't done so already, check out the barrel sticky we have on this forum. It's got a lot of great info for new barrel racers.

Yeah I have gobbled up that thread and watched numerous videos over and over again! I just would love some critiquing. I'm going to work him today and maybe I'll have my sister record me :)

Where are you in Oregon? I know one that is pretty good, but she might be too far from you.

Agreed, where in Oregon? I would highly recommend you my trainer if you're close to the southern area.

Terry White is really good, I am pretty sure she is in Oregon City.

Not yet! I have been riding but either there's no one around to record or it's to busy there to set up barrels :/ I will post one asap!
