Photo Crazy ... mostly of Red

Okay, I've been asked for photos of Red, as I've posted a few of Shotgun. And here are some!

The day I went to look at Red and purchase him in May.




First ride at my parents, when I brought him home.




About a month or so later, in the barn getting ready to go riding.




Starting him on the barrels (and then going off the barrels to work on some more training-type issues).

And we're attempting to grow a thicker, longer tail, all bagged up and conditioned. (Now that the flies have froze away)

Red is so pretty! How tall is he? :)

He was just a hair under 15.2 hands when I measured him.

My yearling (Shotgun) is gaining on him quick! I haven't measured him but he's gotta be at around 14.3+ hands now. He's going to be a BIG boy!

Is Red seriously taller than Ruger? O.O Ruger is only 15hh. Wow....

LOL, and I'm actually wishing Red was taller!! I was so used to my big Beau (just under 16.1 hands) and his long stride. So I am hoping Shotgun grows!!

You think yours is short strided, try Selena! 13.3hh of pure choppy, back-breaking gaits.

I really like Red.. I mean reeeally.. He has such a cute face and he's built pretty well.. muscles.. Love him!

Thanks Drum! And he is so in-your-face too! A complete personable horse.

His thick, muscle build drew me in to buy him. However, he has gotten called fat more than once, because he does not have a sucked-up belly. He certainly could have toned up more, but he's not fat! Just how he is built. (Although yes he was very fat when I bought him. Never been in shape before either!)
