questions about shows

Hi guys, I will hopefully be doing Ontario Barrel Racing Association shows next year, and I have a few questions about some terms. Here is a class list that may help you understand what I am asking:

4-D BARRELS Open to all(OBRA/NBHA sanctioned) $300.00 $22.00
SENIOR BARRELS $50.00 $12.00
PEE WEE BARRELS $25.00 $5.00
4-D OPEN BARRELS Open to all(OBRA/NBHA sanctioned)$300.00 $22.00
ROOKIE BARRELS $100.00 $10.00
YOUTH BARRELS $100.00 $12.00
2-D POLE BENDING $200.00 $15.00

1. There are some classes that say they are OBRA and NBHA sanctioned... does this mean a member of either of those associations can enter and earn points?

2. I am under 18 and this will be my first year, so can I enter rookie and youth or only one? If I can, can I also do 4-D open?

3. Also, what are exhibitions? Is that just where you pay to do a practice run?

Thanks a lot guys

They need to make that sheet more clear. They should have requirements for certain groups and make the ages clear. They even have the open barrels on there twice. Yes-- you can do the open barrels. Yes-- exhibitions means you pay for a warm-up run. I would give the place a call and ask about the requirements for the classes. Hope it helps! :]

Thank you very much, I might be taking a trip to one of these events soon so maybe I will find out then. If not I will call :)
