saddles

What saddle brands are the best for barrel saddles? I am looking for something good but at a reasonable price.

what are the benefits of a treeless saddle? Are treeless saddles also ok for pleasure riding? I need to do some research into treeless saddles!!!!

Corriente is a good brand that does quality work for an affordable price, plus, they are customizable.

I don't have a barrel saddle from them but I do have one of their ranch saddles (and I know a bunch of other folks that have them too) and it's a good, affordable, working quality saddle.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Billy Cook, Tex Tan, Circle Y, HR. You can find used saddles of these brands priced pretty decent, treeless saddles I would suggest riding in one before buying to see if you like it or not. Some do and some don't, I plan on buying a Tammy Fischer Circle Y because I like treeless saddles on my horse and I found that one most comfortable. Pro Rider saddles are also nice and priced good, normally used for trophy saddles. They have a website where you can customize it too. The best thing would be go to a tack store and sit in different saddles to see what you like best.

I've had many people tell me to get a saddle with a tree when I was saddle shopping because they can't offer as much support or something that saddles with trees can.

I ordered a Dakota barrel racing saddle from eBay and love it... It's really comfy, good quality, and puts my legs in the correct position.

Well my favorites are Double J, Martin, Bob Marshall (treeless), and Running P. They are all high quality sades that are amazing and worth the money spent on them.

Right now I am using BMs on all my guys as I just prefer treeless. My horses move more freely and I notice their performance is way better and they put out more than when ridden with a treed saddle. Some people loved them and others hate them.

My sister and I both have KO Trading custom barrel saddles.. They are awesome, good quality, and don't cost a small fortune.

DR, I am so glad you posted here. I was going to mention those saddles and say I'd heard good things, but I couldn't remember for sure if it was KO or another maker. I didn't want to accidentally endorse a crappy brand .
