Such awesome horses. My mare is strictly an english horse, but I learned to ride on my friends barrel horses. I actually had the immense pleasure of meeting, and petting First Down Dash, as well as his son FDD Dynasty. Amazing horses, with some amazing offspring in all facets of the riding world. Other than the ridiculously high stud fee, I'd love to have a FDD baby.

The Grey is my horse Hero in the Wind. He is a 6 year old, 16hhs, thoroughbred, gelding He's started on barrels but need some more weight before we can really blast off.So no one has to tell me he needs weight. Anything else but that.
And the big sorrel is Stomping Thunder. Is a gelding, 15.1hhs maybe, 7 years old, thoroughbred/Quarter Horses. He's not started on barrels just yet but i plan to get him started once spring comes around.

So sad that he passed away:(
IMO, he has been one of the, if not THE, most influential sires in barrel racing history. Lets not forget he sired the immortal Dash Ta Fame!
I feel lucky to have a grandson by him.

I think I posted her a while back. Here is my leased mare diamond! Sorry there is no action shots but we got some work to do before we start running barrels!

And here is my 8 year old appy. She doesn't seem to like barrels too much so I just let her be a trail horse and a teacher for kids :) She's great with my little brother.
