My bf's dad ,lets call him P, had a 'pony'. She was born wild on the reservation and is just shy of 14hh. P is 5'8" and he used to win every event on that horse, tiny as she is. My bf has a 16hh tb gelding who wold win barrels and at key hole. My bf is 6'4". So its not size its condition and heart.

As far as what people say about heart... I totally agree. But one cannot say that size doesn't play a role, surely? Just think'n out loud~
