Some help with color themes?

Okay. I'm starting barrel racing in a few months, and I need some color themes. I have a picture of me and my horse just playing around with our barrels. Please help. (:

well I really like a yellow on a chestnut. My chestnut mare has a theme of pink and zebra which looks fa nominal on her. Also I have seen a lot of electric blues recently on them.

Bright cool colors (blues/purples/greens) look awesome on red horses! I have a bright purple pad on mine and he looks adorable in it. :) I also second Allison on the electric blue!

Skin tones mean we can't wear certain colors very well. Same with the horses. Try to find something that suits both you and the horse. Then you'll really stand out.

I like bright colors! I was going to do lime and zebra with my red but I decided on just zebra. Blue would look awsome, and i'm a sucker for hot pink! It doesn't say if your horse is a male or female but if mine was a girl id for sure put bright pink on him!

Heres a pic with the zebra, excuse all the fuzz and wetness from the rain haha

Barrel Addict - Did you get your tack from Teskeys? I have the exact same color scheme on both of my sorrels.

Not shown in the pictures, they both also have zebra headstalls, white SMBs/zebra bell boots for the one with his head shoved in the hay, and the one with the blaze has black polos/SMBs and turquoise bell boots.

Zebra print is going to be all over in 2012! I have chosen an electric blue and black zebra print for my sorrel to wear in 2012. I have the blue/black zebra print saddle blanket, and blue boots that match. Then just a solid leather breatcollar, headstall and reins. I don't use a tie down on my mare. No need. The colors aren't overwhelming but definitely make her pop out in a crowd.

Yep I sure did!

I am still going to buy black and white braided reins and maybe a zebra tie down, can't decide if it would be too much to have the zebra nose band or not :/
