I have never seen the Tough-1 boots in person. They look "okay" online, but the inside does not look as fitted as some as the other brands.

Classic Equine in a great brand. I myself do not personally like them because I feel they are too bulky.

Pro Equine and Iconoclast also are great brands.

But what I go with are the Professional's Choice SMB 3 boots on all four legs, and the ballistic overreach boots on the front legs. Expensive, yes. Worth it, yes.

Professionals Choice Ballistic Overreach Boots

While it is nice and fun, you sure don't HAVE to HAVE all the colors of the rainbow in boots. One pair of good quality boots will last you a very long time. Unless you do multiple-day events in the mud, you usually can just dry brush the boots clean to re-use them again the next day.

I use professional choice and i love them! I have a friend who used the tough 1 and she has used both professional choice and the tough 1 and said they were still great! The tough 1 sport boots are less expensive, and my friend says she couldn't tell a difference between how her horse performed compared to the more expensive professional choice boots.

The only professionals choice boots I like now are the Ventech Elites. Pro equine look nice I have friends that use them, and the Pegasus Air boots. Professionals Choice doesn't fit my horse so I'm going to try out some Classic Equines.

I only use Professional's Choice, I used the Elites forever and now I use the VenTech Elites. I use Justin bell boots, by FAR my favorite and they're all I will use.

I only like the Pro Choice Elliets and VenTechs. I have used Proformers Choice boots, they only have two straps on them and don't stay in place either, they look like the Tough-1's. The Classic Equines don't fit him right either. I have never tried the Peg. Air boots. They look nice, but I really don't like to use black boots on my horse.
