He just has to get used to wearing them again. What he is doing is not that unusual for a horse that is new to wearing boots, or returning to wearing boots after a period off.

We just put them on and go....or we put them on and leave them on for a few hours while they are in their pen and leave them to figure it out. It just takes some horses a bit to get use to them.

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.
