In case any of you hadn't seen this video yet, this is a girl that runs at the same association as me and Gidget.

It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Well anyone who says a small horse can't barrel race, clearly has had their head under a rock in the barrel racing world.

Isn't Sherry Cervi's amazing horse Stingray only 14.2 or 14.3 hands?

Psh, and "small horses can't barrel race."

Yeah, Stingray can't be more than 14.2 hands.

I haven't talked to them at the last couple races so I don't know if she sold Hoover, but I do know she has been running one of her Moms horses now. She's really good on that horse too, I have one of those runs on video.

I may be wrong but I thought Gidget said something about it in another thread..I'm sure they got a VERY pretty penny for Hoover if they sold him..lol Didn't they call him Hoover the Mover or something?? I bet that little girl is a force to be reckoned with too..

Yeah I remember her saying something. I'll have to track them down at the next race and get myself some info. Lol she ran a really nice run too on that big ol' sorrel horse.
